Cycas revoluta

Cold-hardy, easy-care plant. Cycas are a must for any modern landscape.  Produce a spectacular “flush” of new leaves each year, and develop a thick trunk.  Slow growing and long lived they’re popular worldwide from the tropics to cold temperate regions. Cycas revoluta is best planted in full or partial sunlight.  Old leaves can be cut off at base.  The only problem pests are scale insects. These can be treated with spraying oil and insecticide.
